Here i go again.......*Sigh*

Well once again ive had a slight incident lol.
Im sure im a magnet for bad things to happen to me.

Ive been really enjoying my work up until lately, and then a new resident arrives.
This resident is unlike all the others as this one gets violent. Its not there fault as it is because of a mental illness, but it still affects all us staff.

The first time it affected me was last wednesday evening when i went to stop them stripping off in the middle of the lounge. Well they didnt like that and decided to start hitting me. Then again in the same night they stripping right in front of another resident. I go to stop them again, this time they scratched and hit my neck. I had had enough at that point so called for some more help.
This incident though slight still really shook me up and i didnt want to deal with them again. Lucky for me i had that weekend off.

Alas monday morning comes and i set of for work quite happy but sleepy. I get to work to find we are understaffed so i had to do the job of two! SO im running around trying to get all the work done ,which i did im proud to say lol. Until i got to bring down the last resident from upstairs. I have them on the stairlift all ready and set to go when i notice that other resident has climbed up the stairs. So i head down to where they are on the stairs and try to get them to come down. Well they werent having any of it. There hands start flying ready to hit me again, i put up my arms to protect me and next minute im falling backwards downstairs.

I was hurt quite bad as i ended up badly twisted on the stairs. SO im taken off to hospital where im told ive torn the ligament in my ankle, bruised my ribs and done soft tissue damage to my back and neck. And some other damage i rather not mention at this time.So now im all strapped up ,Hence i have to be signed off work for some time.

I cant even make a cup of tea myself now as i make it full in the kitchen and by time ive hopped to my bed its empty again lol!!!Im pitiful!lol

SO thats the bad news, the good news is im now able to do some art while im laid up!
SO be prepared for more art coming your way from little old me.
